Abstract: Since the establishment of World Bee Day in 2017, the international community has continuously paid attention to the Bee Crisis. The safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) has also deeply involved in global governance of bee issues, providing not only a series of toolkits such as knowledge systems, local experiences, folk wisdom, and management practices but also laying the cornerstone for the civilization concept of ecological improvement and life reshaping. To promote connection and interaction between World Bee Day and bee-related ICH elements and achieve coordinated development of diverse bee populations and diverse bee cultures through multiple dialogues and exchanges between traditional and modern, regional and international, natural and cultural aspects, the endogenous relationship between biodiversity and cultural diversity facilitates multiple approaches to enhance formation of a systematic safeguarding pattern for China’s intangible cultural heritage in the new era.
