【摘要】	都市人类学产生于1920年代末、形成于1970年代,是国际人类学界比较活跃的一个分支学科。在简要地描述了都市人类学从1920年代到2003年的发展历程后,就这门学科的主要研究领域、基本调研方法和创新的分析方法等进行了介绍,并概要指出了国际都市人类学研究的成就与不足。
【英文摘要】	The main research fields of foreign urban anthropology are migrants' adaptation, ghettos or squatter's town, voluntary association, and culture of poverty from 1920s to 2003, and the scholars such as Robert S. Lynd & Helen M. Lynd, W. Lloyd Warner, A. Leeds & E.
