The archived video stream is distributed using QuickTime technology. If needed, please install QuickTime 7, a free download from Apple, at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download.

观看录播的方法：

下载并安装QuickTime 7.0： http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download ；
在关联文件类型中选择全部(因为与暴风音影等同类音视频播放软件有冲突，最好重新设置一下关联文件)；
打开QuikTime, 在“文件”菜单下，选择“打开URL”；
然后将rtsp://cer2.missouri.edu/ISSOT-10102011_archive.mov拷贝并粘贴到空行处即可。

可能会有点卡，这应该取决于网速。

据悉，朝戈金研究员10月10日在美国密苏里大学口头传统研究中心做的题为《Oral Epic Traditions in China: Diversity, Dynamics, and Decline of Living Heritage(中国口头史诗传统：活态遗产的多样性、动力及衰微)》英文演讲网络直播的视频发布之后，迄今已有50多个国家的学者通过互联网观看了该视频，引起世界各地学者对中国史诗学研究的广泛关注。 约翰·弗里教授主持这次网络直播 朝戈金研究员在讲座中 　　美国密苏里大学口头传统研究中心主办的国际著名史诗学研究期刊《Oral Tradition(口头传统)》发布了新一期电子期刊(第26期，网址为http://journal.oraltradition.org/issues/26i，包含9篇文章以及国际口头传统研究组织(ISSOT)的一些活动介绍，其中包括了朝戈金研究员此次的演讲网络直播活动。(详见编者按http://journal.oraltradition.org/issues/26i/editors_column)。《Oral Tradition》电子期刊的所有文章都可以在线阅读，免费下载。 　　此外，《Oral Tradition》第18期(1、2)中文版也已刊布上网。网址为： 　　http://journal.oraltradition.org/issues/18i 　　http://journal.oraltradition.org/issues/18ii 　　目前，密苏里大学口头传统研究中心正把Pathways Project(通道项目)的部分内容翻译成中文。 　　实践证明，网络视频直播作为传递信息、增进国际学术交流与合作的便捷平台，将在今后的学术研究和成果传播发挥越来越重要的作用。
