吴旭，男，湖北恩施人，土家族，加拿大阿尔伯塔Alberta大学人类学博士（2003）,该校博士后（2004-2005）。加拿大萨省大学人类学助理教授（2006-2008），08年至今任教于华东师范大学，美国应用人类学学会SFAA Fellow，主要研究食物人类学和民族植物学。
