应美国密苏里大学口头传统研究中心邀请，中国社会科学院民族文学研究所所长朝戈金研究员将于美国当地时间2011年10月10日8时（北京时间10月10日21时）举办讲座，主题为中国口承史诗。讲座语言为英语。

哈哈，有意思，朝大人变成小人国的头儿了。
俺的暴风音影总跟苹果的Quicktime打架，开头没能看上，后来只得把暴风给卸了，才跟上的。
是有点儿卡，回头再看转播吧，录播的效果应该更好。。。

On October 10, 2011, Dr. Chao Gejin conducted a seminar entitled Oral Epic Traditions in China: Diversity, Dynamics, and Decline of Living Heritage. The live webcast was viewed by members in thirteen countries around the world. The archived video is provided for those who were unable to view the seminar live.

The archived video stream is distributed using QuickTime technology. If needed, please install QuickTime 7, a free download from Apple, at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download.
Clicking the following link should open the video stream in the QuickTime Player application.

观看录播的方法：

下载并安装QuickTime 7.0： http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download ；
在关联文件类型中选择全部(因为与暴风音影等同类音视频播放软件有冲突，最好重新设置一下关联文件)；
打开QuikTime, 在“文件”菜单下，选择“打开URL”；
然后将rtsp://cer2.missouri.edu/ISSOT-10102011_archive.mov拷贝并粘贴到空行处即可。

可能会有点卡，这应该取决于网速。

大家试试吧。。。

──朝戈金研究员在美国密苏里大学演讲产生广泛影响

　　据悉，朝戈金研究员10月10日在美国密苏里大学口头传统研究中心做的题为《Oral Epic Traditions in China: Diversity, Dynamics, and Decline of Living Heritage(中国口头史诗传统：活态遗产的多样性、动力及衰微)》英文演讲网络直播的视频发布之后，迄今已有50多个国家的学者通过互联网观看了该视频，引起世界各地学者对中国史诗学研究的广泛关注。

　　美国密苏里大学口头传统研究中心主办的国际著名史诗学研究期刊《Oral Tradition(口头传统)》发布了新一期电子期刊(第26期，网址为http://journal.oraltradition.org/issues/26i，包含9篇文章以及国际口头传统研究组织(ISSOT)的一些活动介绍，其中包括了朝戈金研究员此次的演讲网络直播活动。(详见编者按http://journal.oraltradition.org/issues/26i/editors_column)。《Oral Tradition》电子期刊的所有文章都可以在线阅读，免费下载。

又一次证明internet是多么重要！这个事情的意义很重大。一方面朝先生讲的是口头传统，但是研究研究口头传统的人没想到今天他们的口头演讲居然会通过这样的方式进行全球直播，全球直播的意义正在表明世界已经是一个地球村，现代村落的口头传统正在被建构。

口头传播与口头性实现在今天作为身体延伸的电子媒介平台上得到了新的诠释！
